The shoes in this collection were designed with a story in mind—kids as interstellar travelers, planet-hopping through the galaxy and exploring all the alien terrains they encounter. We brought the collection to life with out-of-this-world illustrated photos and an immersive landing page experience.
Alien desert, water world, botanical wonderland, or lush jungle… which to explore first?
Since we didn’t have the budget to actually traverse the galaxy, our team photographed kids on a green screen and manipulated the backgrounds to showcase the four “worlds” of the collection. I art directed the illustrations by Ewa Mos to add another layer of imagination.
We wanted this experience to reflect the collection concept and be all about discovery, more than just a PDF lookbook to flip through. When visitors went to the site, they saw only four planets with a path connecting them. Clicking on each planet shows a whole new world with the textures, creatures, and new shoes found there.
